DAWN was born in 1962, and 1 out of 4 girls, she held true to the birth order belief that the middle child must stand out and thus began her career as an entertainer. At age 4 she started dance classes and 50 years later is still going strong.  She loves to entertain at home and on the stage.  She loves to cook, exercise and play with Ginger, the hysterical Irish Terrier who keeps the family on their toes and Bennington "Benny" the family's new addition, a Wire-hair Fox Terrier (terrorist). She lives in Richmond with her anesthesiologist husband, Carl and their beautiful daughter Sydney (Who is also a dancer).

Dawn always thought she would have a profession in the healthcare industry, but as fate would have it - all three of her fine arts teachers in high school sat her down her senior year and said, “You need to try this

performing thing first.” So she did.

Dawn graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University in 1985 with a BFA in theatrical performance and directing.  She then studied at London’s Royal National Theatre of Great Britain in 1988 before moving to the Big Apple to live the nomadic life of an actress.  She has worked as a professional director, actress and producer for over 39 years and in May 2019 she graduated with her Masters of Science from the National Technical Institute for the Deaf and now specializes in both medical and mental health interpreting.  Finding balance in her life has always been her mantra and it has done her well, though she feels strongly that balance is not something you find, but rather something you create.
